Too Chic

Nothing is more chic and always in style then t-shirt/jeans/blazer combo. Whenever I wear it I feel put together and comfortable yet without having to try hard. It's a great fall or spring look. So, the links I have today make this outfit all set for the Maternity flock.

TOPS:
Normally I would never put a t-shirt here, but with every t-shirt sold money is donated to Tommy's the baby charity at this link. Plus, it has such a sweet poem on it that caused my heart to melt. And the price isn't bad either at $12, down from $52. For all these reasons, I felt I had to post the link:

BOTTOMS:
These Magda Skinny Jeans by Seraphine may not be as inexpensive as the $19.99 jeans I posted earlier, but these aren't too pricey either. At $44, down from $88, they are still a bargain. Plus, they come in short and regular sizes. They have actual belt loops, instead of just a maternity band, which means after the baby's born you could wear them again! Here's the link:

BLAZER:
This Olian jacket is perfect for the office or to dress up a casual jeans and t-shirt outfit. Blazers are hard to find for pregnant ladies, so when I saw this it was necessary to post it. At $67, down from $92, the price isn't bad. Here's the link:

I scream: AMAZING!

Sometimes I just want to scream, "THESE ARE AMAZING DEALS PEOPLE!!!" But, if I did that, no one would have any idea I was screaming about maternity clothing deals. They would just think I am crazy. That's why I'm so glad my husband came up with the brilliant idea to blog about it. That's right, it wasn't even my idea. I had been talking about how there needs to be a resource for pregnant women to find inexpensive clothing that doesn't fall apart after one wash, My smart husband said to me, "Why don't you look up the deals and post them on a blog." All I can hope is some pregnant women out there in cyber land see my blog and get some benefit from it. So, here are the deals today:

TOP:
This Slub Tunic is simple yet pretty. It has a fetching drape, but ties in the front so you don't look like your wearing a sack. Don't get me started on how many sack like tops I come across! The raglan sleeves are too cute. For $29.99 you can dress it up or down. The nude color will work with everything! Here's the link:
http://www.1intheoven.com/products/Slub-Tunic.html#

BOTTOM:
The Chiarakruza Paige maternity pants are really good looking. They would be great for work! A nice blouse and sweater would make these camel colored pants look great. You just can't beat $37, marked down from $106! Plus all shipping is free and no sales tax on this website!!! Here's the link:
http://www.bumpfashion.com/chiarakruzapaigepantscamel.html

DRESS:
This Japanese Weekend Organic art style dress is delightful! It may be a warm weather dress, but throw some leggings and a sweater on, and you got one amazing fall outfit going! Pricing isn't bad either at $55, down from $110. Here's the link:

Layer and layer is the name of the game!

I am just going to admit that most of the tops, pants and dresses will be lightweight for a while. It’s just what’s being marked down now. But, it’s kind of a good thing. With light tops and dresses, you can always add. Add sweaters, undershirts, blazers, etc., to bulk them up. Then, come spring, break them out again!

TOP:
This NOM Mandy top is simply beautiful! The embroidery looks so delicate. You could wear this top casually or dress it up. Plus, at $15.00, marked down from $86.00, it’s a steal!
http://www.bellydancematernity.com/NOM-Mandy-Top.html

BOTTOM:
The brown skinny jeans from Maternal America look sleek and hip. These too could be dressed up or down. I think the jeans would be great for a night out on the town with the ladies, dressed up with the top above and a little sweater or blazer and a pretty necklace! Since they are $23.99, marked down from $98.00, the night out might be more expensive then the pants!

DRESS:
This dress is GOR... wait for it... GEOUS! Seriously, it really is beautiful. It’s a simple dark dress, but the cut and effortless features (slight princess sleeves, tie drop waist and pucker empire waist) is what makes the dress. Apparently Halle Berry agreed, because she has worn it! The dress is $52, down from $87, which isn't my best deal but I thought it looked too good to pass up.

I want!

The more I look at these sites to find deals, the more I want to buy the clothes even though I’m not pregnant. Technically, I could buy and wear them, though I might look odd in a few of the pieces. Some of this stuff is just way cute! Yet, other things I see and will never put on this site, is just so bad I think, “A designer was paid to come up with this idea?”

Here are my recommendations of the day:

TOPS:
The top featured here is so pretty and flows so nicely, I know any pregnant woman would be comfortable in it. They have 2 different colors, fade (which is a light blue) and rosewood (which is a light pink). Unfortunately they have 2 different links for the colors. The cost is $40, which is a little on the high end for my posts since it's just a top, but it's reduced from $125 which is a great markdown. Here are the links:
Fade: http://www.bellydancematernity.com/Calypso-St-Barth-Fade-Dale-Top.html
Rosewood: http://www.bellydancematernity.com/Calypso-St-Barth-Rosewood-Dale-Top.html

BOTTOMS:
I like these duo Maternity boot cut jeans because they are flattering and come in regular, petite, plus and tall sizes! All those sizes for one piece are hard to find in non-maternity clothes, let alone pregnancy items. And on top of all that they are over half off. Regular and petite sizes are $19.99 and plus and tall are $21.99. Here’s the link:

SWEATER:
This long sleeve Cascade Cardigan looks too cool for school. I saw it before on my deal finding rounds and thought it was a little too much for a cardigan, but now it’s on sale for an additional 30% for their Cyber Monday sale. So, I went back and decided to post it. Your price after the discount would be $20.99. Not bad if you ask me! Here is the link:

Cute finds...

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I spent it cooking and then eating, so it was great. Then I got right back to finding great deals online for everyone. I just love finding a nice bargain. I currently work for a major department store in their markdown department, so finding a good deal is more then just a hobby. Unfortunately, the store I work for doesn’t sell Maternity clothes online, so I can’t use them in this blog.

Well, enough blabbing, on to the good stuff - deals:

TOP:
This 3/4 Sleeve Blouse was just too pretty for me to pass by. Again, another light weight top, put it would be so pretty under a blazer or sweater for work or play! It also got so many glowing reviews, so at $19.99 I had to post it. Here is the link:

BOTTOM:
The Fatigue Green skinny cargo pants from The Gap is amazaballs! It cute, stylish and has great reviews from The Gap customers. The best part, it is only $23.99, down from $79.95! Can I get a What! What!! Here is the link:
http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=65309&vid=1&pid=849047&scid=849047022

COAT:
This hooded Poncho is cute and perfect for the Fall season, especially if you live in the southern half of the country. It comes in Heather Grey or Black. Unfortunately, the Grey is only in medium, but the Black comes in all sizes. It's on sale for $39.99, which isn't bad for a Autumn coat. Here is the link:

Let the deals begin....

Welcome! If you are reading this, you must be pregnant, so congratulations! The reason I am starting this blog is simple, to help pregnant ladies find decent clothes at a good price. I gave birth to my baby boy in May of 2011 and was amazed at the poor clothing selection out there for pregnant women. I came across two types of clothing:

1. Really cheaply made clothes. Which I could afford, but weren’t really stylish or the store had a poor selection to choose from.

OR

2. Really expensive clothes that were stylish. There was usually a good selection, but I wasn't about to pay $100 for a shirt.

I thought if there was a resource out there for the maternity set, that could find the stylish clothing at a reasonable price, I would be all over it. But, there wasn’t. Well, I have yet to find it if it does exist. So, I am here today to create this resource for you.

I do not have an affiliation with any of the online retailers I will be recommending. For right now the blog is just to cure a frustration I had while I was pregnant. If anything changes I will be upfront and let everyone know. I am acquainted with several women who are currently blessed with being pregnant, so even if this blog just helps them I will be happy.

This is how my blog will work: Everyday I will post 3 maternity clothing deals I find at various online stores. The 3 pieces shall be a top, bottom and dress/coat/sweater. There may be a few days here and there that I will be unable to get to the blog. For that I am sorry, but having to deal with a 6 month old can really take up my time, especially on my work days or when I travel. I will try and make a post everyday.

If any of you find great deals or amazing online stores, please pass them my way. I will be happy to incorporate anything that will help out the pregnant ladies with their clothing dilemmas. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns: RMaternity@gmail.com.

Here are my recommendations of the day:

TOP:
While this top is more for spring and summer, it was so pretty with the embroidery I had to post it. It comes in mauve or grey. I figured you could throw a  sweater or blazer over top and make it work for fall, or just save it for spring. Either way, it's only $25, marked down from $85, so you really can't beat that. Here's the link:
http://www.seraphine.co/maternity-wear-by-occasion/maternity-clothes-sale/displayProduct.asp?idproduct=1517&idcategory=40&title=Embroidered+Cotton+Tunic+%2D+Mauve+or+Grey

BOTTOM:
These are typical tan trousers by Noppies in Amsterdam, but they would look great for work. Also, at $19.75, marked down from $79.00, it was just too good a deal to pass up. Here is the link:
http://shop.bellimaternity.com/product.sc?productId=393

DRESS:
I thought this Lauren Kiyomi dress would be cute for the office or holidays. It's simple, but could be really dressed up with some jewelry and cute shoes or boots. This site has free shipping and no sales tax! Also, it's only $27.00, from $99.00 (unbelievable!). And comes in brown or black. Here is the link:
