Back with Maternity Outfit Under $60!

Ok, I know I have been away for a very long time. For that I apologize. The main reason for my absence is good news, I am pregnant. That’s right, I now can partake in the clothing deals I recommend to you. Now, you would think that would make me want to work on this blog even more, but strangely enough it had the opposite effect. Just thinking of working on the blog made me nauseous. I am sure many of you know about odd things making you sick to your stomach. Last pregnancy it was music and women laughing (yah, very odd I know). This time it was working on my blog, reading Facebook and watching certain television shows. Even doctors can’t explain the real oddities of pregnancy, though my husband tries to from time to time, without much success.
Anyway, the first trimester is over (yay!) and I am feeling a lot better, so I am back. I knew I had to make this post worth it to make up for time lost and I think I have. The entire maternity outfit I have picked out totals under $60!

TOP:
I can tell you for a fact this Maternity Slubbed Peasant Long Sleeve Tunic is great, because I own it. Once I saw it, it was the first piece I bought for this pregnancy. It’s perfect for warm days. The material is lightweight, so I would throw a tank top under it or a sweater over top especially if you choose the white color. It’s stylish, classic and perfect for spring and summer. It’s only $20.99, down from $44.50. Check it out at:
http://www.loft.com/loft/product/LOFT-Maternity/Maternity-Tops/Maternity-Slubbed-Peasant-Long-Sleeve-Tunic/275927?colorExplode=false&skuId=10609149&catid=catl000043&productPageType=fullPriceProducts&defaultColor=4886

BOTTOM:

These Skinny Ankle Jeans are great for the warm months and super stylish. Colorful jeans are all the rage right now, so these fit the bill. Perfect for a style that might not last longer then a couple of years, since you definitely won’t be wearing them that long. I, personally, never buy trendy things, but when I am pregnant I go all out because I know in five years the piece won’t be in style anymore and I won’t be pregnant anymore either. One of the benefits of being pregnant, taking fashion risks and indulging in whims. Plus, at only $13.30, down from $92, why not!

SWEATER:
This Bolero Sweater Wrap is perfect for spring, summer and fall. The great thing about this sweater, you can wear it even when you aren’t pregnant. There are many colors to choose from. It’s also perfect if you are nursing, you won’t have to bring a cover up with you, just cover the baby in the extra fabric. At only $22, down from $88, you can’t beat that price! Take a look.

Why Can't Pregnant Woman Look Fab Too Without the Cost!

Today I have, what I like to call my: Hollywood Outfit. It’s looks like something you would see a celeb wearing while running errands around town. You know that look. That “Oh, this old thing I just threw together last minute to run out the door, but costs $3000.” Well, I have a much, much cheaper version of that for all the pregnant ladies out there. The clothes are simple, stylish, but elegant at the same time. It’s the detailing that makes it stand out. Even the model wearing the dress I picked out, looks like she’s hiding from the paparazzi. Being that the clothes have a little bit more to them, they cost a little bit more. It’s not outrageous, or it wouldn’t be on this site. But, the prices are little bit higher then what I normally post. With all that said, here are the deals of today:

TOP:
I am going to get moronic, but you will see why if you check out the link. This top is da bomb! See, I told you, silly! But it really is amazing. I have never come across a top for pregnant women that makes them look sexy, I mean REALLY sexy. It’s like Marylin Monroe got pregnant and was born again as this maternity top. You have to check out this Black Draped Sequin Top for only $44, down from $95. Here’s the link:
http://www.seraphine.co/maternity-clothing/maternity-tops/draped-sequin-tunic.html

BOTTOM:
These Grey Smart Cropped Trousers are more for Spring/Summer/Fall, but snap up the deals now before it is spring and these type of pants are full price. They work great for office or a night out. They are only $64, down from $89, so check them out. Here’s the link:

DRESS:
The Short Sleeve Ana Dress by Jules & Jim works anywhere. Seriously, anywhere! Wear it to work, a special affair, grocery shopping, to the movies with friends, etc. It’s simple enough that the dress will fit any occasion, yet with enough detailing (gathering in the shoulders and sides) to make it easy to dress up with the right accessories. It’s a great price at only $61, down from $122. Here’s the link:

Another Under $90 Maternity Outfit and Dress that can't be BEAT!

Had some computer glitches this past week that made it hard to post, so you have my apologies. As I stated in a previous post, I am finding the last of the warm weather stuff being marked down to their bottom prices, so in the coming weeks I will fit in some of those deals where I can. Like the dress I have in this post. Luckily, it can have pieces added to it to be worn during the cold months. Once, it does start getting warm out, in a few months, you will also see me post a lot of dresses. Having been pregnant myself, I realized the importance of dresses. That was my staple last summer. It was comfortable, cool and flattering all at the same time. Can’t beat that! Well, here are the deals for today:

Amazon go away. Maternity Deals are here to stay!

So, I just learned that Amazon reduced their savings on baby necessities like wipes and diapers, while also cutting back the one year free shipping in the Amazon Mom program. Unless you pay $79 for amazon prime then you get the free shipping, but still limited discounts. I understand a business needs to raise prices or cut back on the savings to make a profit, but last I checked Amazon was far from hurting money wise. With something like this, they should have gradually implemented it or given prior notice to current customers, but they didn’t. They stated this in an email that it will take effect on January 24th, 2012, but when customers try to use the discount before it expires they realize it has already been put into action.
As a new mom who has taken advantage of the good mom deals at Amazon I was very disappointed that they chose to do this. In the economy that we are in, people need all the help they can get. A giant of a company like Amazon can easily afford not to take such drastic measures or, at least, cut back over a period of time. I might as well use CVS or Walgreens to buy the baby products, because I would get the same price there as Amazon now. For this reason I have decided to boycott Amazon. They will not be featured on this blog. I know I normally don’t get opinionated with R. Maternity, but it does relate to what I am doing - try to find the best deal out there. I hope I haven’t offended anyone with my stance, it is not my intent to do so. I just want companies to learn that customers do matter and they should listen to them, not just the bottom line. With that said, here are the deals today:

TOP:
The Maternity V-Neck Knotted Top by Maternity America is simple with a little pop. The twist detail in the front makes it stand out. At only $28, down from $79.50, when you enter the code shopsale at checkout it’s worth it. Here’s the link:

BOTTOM:
You want cool jeans that will make any pregnant woman look hot, then check out 1969 nude full panel always skinny jeans at the Gap. These pants are great for a day out with the girls! At only $44.99, down from $79.95, what more could you ask for. Here’s the link:

Warm and Cool Weather Maternity Wear at a Discount!

Now is the time of year that all the warm weather clothing is extremely discounted. We still have over 2 months until spring, but you have the perfect opportunity to grab clothes at ridiculously low prices. All the stores are trying to get rid of the last of their warm weather inventory before they sell it off to a foreign market for not much profit, if any. I have now told you an industry secret. Those discount retailers and outlet stores rarely sell the “out of season” wears from the big name stores. The clothes at those discount/outlet places are usually made for them, just with cheaper material. The big name stores sell their old stuff to foreign countries. So, take advantage of the markdown maternity clothes while you can.

TOP:
If you want a perfect all year top, this Zula Maternity Crossfront Top is perfect. It’s stylish with the crossfront style, dramatic with it’s color and simple in the t-shape. At only $36, down from $60, you know it’s worth it. Here’s the link:
http://www.bellydancematernity.com/Zula-Maternity-Crossfront-Top.html

BOTTOM:
Here are some capri pants that are great for spring, summer and early fall. The Jules & Jim Women’s Maternity Stretch ¾ Pant are simple and comfortable on those warm days. The price is right too at $38, down from $76. Here’s the link:

DRESS:
While all the items I posted in this link work for the warm days of the year, this Maternity Crowl Neck Sweater Dress works for those cool days. It’s comfortable and warm, but great for a night out when there is a nip in the air. At only $39.99, down from $84.50, once you enter the shopsale code at checkout. Here’s the link:

Clothing Deals that work Pregnant or not!

The outfit today is stylish but versatile. Each piece can be used with many other outfits. Plus, most of the pieces (with the exception of the jeans, but get creative and you can wear them too) can be worn post-pregnancy. Perfect for when you are still trying to lose the baby weight!

TOP:
This NOM grey Alexa Tunic is great because it can be dressed up for a night out on the town or dressed down for a relaxing evening at home. At only $30, down from $58, it’s a great deal. Here’s the link:
http://www.bellydancematernity.com/NOM-Grey-Alexa-Tunic.html

BOTTOM:
I know the Serfontaine Women’s Maternity Mezzanine Boot Cut Jeans are a little pricey for what I usually post, but they truly are terrific pants. Plus, the double layer back pockets help make your back side look smaller! What pregnant woman doesn’t need help with that. Considering how much they were originally, it’s still a great deal at $99, down from $198. Here’s the link:

SWEATER:
I love this sweater! The Olian Stripe Open Sweater is a great addition to any wardrobe, pregnant or not. It works great long after you have given birth. The price is amazing at only $40, down from $109, it can’t be beat! Here’s the link:
